Nordwind - the frosty snuff.

An almost forgotten classical snuff as it used to be made by the cottagers in the fens of Eastern Germany - what leaves remained at the tobacco plant´s stem after the first sudden frosts was turned into a dark green snuff.

The unmistakable scent of frozen green tobacco leaves, a touch of camphor and bay leave, and a dash of menthol.

Moist, medium grind. Strong in nicotine, mentholated.

The scent from the bag was awful... I got worried and did not want to sniff this one it but I got brave and I'm so glad I did... I just sat for 10 minuets smiling... My wife asking me what is wrong but I just ignored her... I didn't want anything to disturb the magic on the frozen winds. This snuff is so beautiful that you almost get a time-lapse of the life of the tobacco, happy, dancing and growing in the sun only to be bitten by Jack frost and turn a deep, dark green... so clean and cool, it's almost like the icicles are in your nose. Sniff, breath deep and close your eyes friends because today you experience history at its finest and freshest. minuets smiling... My wife asking me what is wrong but I just ignored her... Nordwind is a nice combination of bay leaves, camphor and menthol. It is yet another great green snuff which is enjoyable and easy to take. All the ingredients have good strong aromas which allow you to recognise them easily. The bay leaves provide an interesting start , before fading so you get a camphor and menthol finish, which lasts for several minutes. As far as green snuffs are concerned this is one of the finest yet! In the west the concept of a green snuff is new and Rene never fails to impress and suprise me each time it is done with the hands of true love! No just the product itself but the idea of snuff and all it represents! and suprise me each time it is done with the hands of true love!
